SUNSHINE CUNNINGHAM’S SWEDISH LAUNCH SPRING 2012
STOCKHOLM, Sweden (April 20, 2012) – Sunshine Cunningham officially launches her luxury bag collection in Sweden. A private vernissage was held in the Old Town of Stockholm on 17 April, 2012, and featured three new handbag lines inspired by the Sunshine Cunningham Anaconda, designed for and worn by Mrs. Megan Skarsgård at Cannes 2011.
The three handbag lines pay tribute to natural beauty, subtle elegance, animal life and the female spirit, and bring new life and sophisticated beauty to any woman’s wardrobe. The Elephant Bag, Turtle Bag, and Armadillo Clutch lines are all made of finest quality leathers and will be available in a variety of sizes, rich, earthy colors, and unique design details.
The guests invited to the vernissage included a large number of well-known international and nationally known names within fashion, music, the arts, and the entertainment industries. The event was sponsored by Taittinger Champagne and Mr. Clovis Taittinger, son of Mr. Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger and President of Champagne Taittinger, was in attendance. Plans for an international launch of the Sunshine Cunningham brand are underway, and expected to commence in Autumn 2012 and Spring 2013.
The Sunshine Cunningham brand is privately owned. The creative director, Sunshine Cunningham, personally designs and hand-makes each of her luxury leather bags from her 14th century atelier in the Old Town of Stockholm, Sweden. Using the finest possible raw materials and quality driven production methods, she has developed a signature style that is treasured by style conscious men and women around the world. Her bags can be seen on red carpets, in feature films, and on high profile, international televised events.
